As a little girl, I began taking pictures of the animals on our family farm in Ohio. I loved making everyone laugh by capturing the personalities of newborn kittens and pigs playing in the mud. This fascination in photography carried with me through college where I bought my first manual 35mm camera with a 200mm telephoto lens. After graduation, a move to Wyoming opened up a new door in photography. My career led me to such places as Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and the National Elk Refuge where there were more photo opportunities than I ever dreamed possible. Wyoming has also been a great location for me to travel to many other landscapes in the West.

My fascination with our beautiful planet and all the living things on it is captured in every image. Each picture that I take is with a "love for nature" that shines wherever they are displayed.

Over the last two summers, several of my friends married and asked me to photograph their big day. It was truly something new to me, and I decided to give it a try. This was a turning point in my photography. I love to work with people so why not photograph them as well as wildlife and landscapes? The more I did, the more I loved it. Weddings are one of the happiest occasions that families share, and I feel that photographs should show that. I strive each moment with people to get those branding images of love, sharing, happiness..... the best times in life! As we grow old, photographs should not only refresh our memories but feed our souls with joy. Allow me to join you on your wedding, vacation, or just a day in the great outdoors with the family.

I recently got married and had the best day of my life. Mark Gocke, a friend and mentor, photographed our special day. (See Photo) These photographs will not only be part of our lives forever but for our children and grandchildren.
